I recently heard from the Environment Agency, (after I called them up several times requesting an answer!). Unfortunately they are unable to help clear any of the trash at ‘canteen lay-by’. If there was rubbish leakage into the river they possibly could have. So with the farmer understandably reluctant, the council unable and now the EA too…I guess it’s up to us, or no one.

I’ve just put it in my diary…for October 1st when the foliage should have died down again and we can see exactly what’s there.

I feel another film/documentary coming on.
