In the late 1980’s and into the 90’s, (and into the 0’s and still now) I spent a lot of time travelling abroad. Initially, and for many years, it was to get rid of the angst I felt at having my life turned upside down, (the right way up really!) after having been healed of an illness. I spent many years seeking solitude, but when finding it, got scared, unhappy, and turned around and went back pretty quick to the every day comforts of tasty food, warmth and friends.
As I was wandering along the beach at Kimmeridge Bay the other day I came across this sign…and it reminded me of one such episode…
